Bio-verde Feta has been sold in health food stores with great success since 1989. The recipe and quality have hardly changed, and only sheep's and goat's milk produced in Greece can be used to call the cheese feta. Cheap milk from Eastern Europe is absolutely taboo! The goat's milk gives the cheese its typical character: a spicy taste with a subtle sour note and a beautiful white color.
Feta cheese tastes great as a table cheese or in salads. Feta is also a tasty addition to vegetable and pasta dishes or in puff pastry rolls.
